Perry Booster Club pop-up shop - Thursday, August 17 through Saturday, August 20

The Perry Booster Club will host a pop-up shop at the Town Craft Building. The pop-up shop will be open during the following times: Thursday from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m., Friday from 11:00 - 7:00 p.m., and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The next opportunity to buy PCSD apparel will be on Friday nights at the Dewey Field in the Jays Nest

Public Safety Day - Saturday, August 19

The City of Perry will celebrate Public Safety Day on Saturday, Aug. 19 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Hy-Vee parking lot. The free event will include appearances from the Police, Fire, Public works, and Park departments. On site, attendees can expect to see public safety equipment, witness the jaws of life in action, as well as the mobile smoke house. The event is kid-friendly and free to the public.

Solar Eclipse Watch - Monday, August 21

The Perry Public Library will host a free watch event at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, August 21 in the large meeting room. Attendees will participate in hands-on activities, as well as receive special glasses to safely view the solar eclipse. The event is free to the public.

Back to School at Perry Elementary - Monday, August 21

From 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Perry Elementary School, students can get the opportunity to meet their 2017-2018 teachers. Free dental screenings, new opportunities information, McCreary Center fall program sign up, Perry Public Library Walking School Bus Registration, Free vision checks, games, and giveaways will be present.

Perry Community Blood Drive - Tuesday, August 22

A blood drive will take place at the Dallas County Hospital from 2-6 p.m.
