Adan Santana Medina, of Perry, reported theft from two vehicles in the 2600 block of Warford Street.

A vehicle accident was reported at 18th and McKinley. No injuries reported. Damage estimated at $5,800. Devon James Timmons of Perry was cited for failure to obey stop sign and yield right of way.


June 23, 2017


Gregory Alan Nath, of 170 Willis Avenue, Perry, was arrested in the 1700 block of Willis Avenue and charged with obstruction of emergency communications, false imprisonment and first offense domestic abuse asssault.


Jesus Ramon Gomez, no address listed, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a shoplifting case.


Raccoon Valley Bank advised that they had some fraudulent checks that were deposited.


June 22, 2017


David John Alderson, of Perry, reported theft from vehicles in the 2800 block of Willis Avenue.


Gary Melvn Meyer, of Perry, reported destruction of property in the 1900 block of Lucinda Street. Reported that someone had written some letters or markings on his front door. Words on door were “we know.”


A vehicle driven by Teresa Kresse was backing out of a parking spot at Hy-Vee in Perry and backed into a vehicle driven by Domingo Puente Sanchez, who was also backing out of his parking spot. Damage estimated at about $300.


Larry Dean Thompson reported the theft of his trailer in the 700 block of Fifth Street.


June 21, 2017


David Riedle, of 2949 Kading Road, Perry, was arrested at 18th and McKinley and charged with possession of methamphetimine, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to have a valid drivers’ license and no insurance.


Nancy Lee Harker, of Perry reported theft in the 1800 block of Iowa Street.


Jeremiah Matthew Messner, of Denver, Colo. was arrested in the 1200 block of First Avenue and charged with first offense public intoxication, disorderly conduct and fugutive from justice.


June 20, 2017


A vehicle driven by Donna Carlisle, of Perry, was attempting to pull out of the Kum & Go parking lot onto First Street. While stopped, her vehicle was struck by a vehicle driven by Donald Ray Joiner, of Perry. Minor damage to Carlisle’s rear bumper and no damage to Joiner’s vehicle was reported. Damage estimated at $1,500. No citations were issued due to the accident being on private property.


Heather Lea Karolus and Marilyn Ridnour reported that their daughters were hit by a vehicle while on their bikes. The driver stopped to check on the girls and then left. Minor damage to the bikes was reported and one of the girls had a bruise on her knee.


Brian Lee Eiteman of Perry reported a 2-vehicle accident at First and Park.


Hector Cardona was arrested by the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office and charged on Perry Police Department Warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia.
