Andrea Tunink is shown presenting a check for $2,000 for the “Connector” project to Mike Wallace, Director of the Dallas County Conservation Board, Monday, June 19, 2017. Andrea is representing Farm Credit Services of America.
Earlier this spring several employees of Farm Credit Services of America volunteered their time at Forest Park Museum and the Voas Nature Area as part of their community involvement volunteer opportunity program. They worked hard and did some spring clean-up and landscaping for the two park areas.
“To come back and make a significant donation to the Dallas County Conservation Foundation for the Raccoon River Valley Trail to High Trestle Trail Connector project was a big surprise,” stated Wallace. “We really appreciate their support and their donation of time and funds to help our department with some of the areas and projects we are involved in.”
