From July 1-4, the Never Forget 9/11 Mobile Exhibit will be on display at Wild Rose Casino in Jefferson. On June 30, a motorcade will escort the exhibit from the Shopko and Hy-Vee parking lots in Perry to the Casino and they are looking for participants to be a part of it.

Those interested in participating in the motorcade should meet in the Shopko and Hy-Vee parking lots at 11 a.m. and be ready to leave for the casino at noon.

The motorcade will start on Highway 141 to 4N through Jefferson. They will have four New York Fire Department representatives who were in New York on Sept. 11, 2001 in the motorcade as well.

The motorcade will be led by Jefferson Police as the lead car, followed by the Memorial Exhibit, then area fire departments, then by remaining police departments, veterans and military organizations, bike clubs and then by the general public.

Any and all are welcome to participate in the Memorial Escort.
