DES MOINES — The U.S. Small Business Administration is hosting two free workshops for existing and start-up businesses in Perry.

The first will be presented in English on Tuesday, June 6th from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Perry Public Library, 1101 Willis Avenue, Perry, IA 50220. The second workshop will be a repeat of the first, but offered in Spanish. It will be held on Tuesday, June 13th from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and will also be held at the Perry Public Library.

The workshops will give an overview of the capital, counseling and contracting programs and services available from the SBA and its resource partners to help entrepreneurs start and grow a small business. Attendees of the workshop will learn more about:

· SBA loan programs

· Government contracting

· Counseling and training services from SCORE, the Women’s Business Center and America’s SBDC – Iowa.

Attendance for both workshops is free, but pre-registration is required.
