The 2017 summer reading programs at Perry Public Library will kick off with the Summer Reading KidsFest, Saturday, June 3, from 10:00-1:00, at the library, the Carnegie Library Museum, and outside on Railroad Street. There will be family-friendly activities such as face-painting, a petting zoo, walking magic show, scavenger hunt, card-stacking, bingo, balloon animals, “carnival” games, a construction theme photo-op, crafts, and more! Come and see the Hometown Heritage collection and new genealogy computers at the Carnegie Library Museum. The popcorn stand will be open during festivities, and $1 lunches will be prepared by the Perry Volunteer Fire Department. Volunteers from local organizations will be on hand to assist with the celebration. Bring the family, and enjoy fun, food and festivities at the Summer Reading KidsFest!
