Breakfast and lunch meals will be provided at no cost to all children age 18 and under, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, through the Summer Food Service Program, beginning June 5. The USDA funds the meals provided through the Summer Food Service program.
This year, meals will be provided at Perry Elementary School, June 5 through Aug. 4, and at Perry High School, June 5 through June 30.
Serving times at the Elementary School are: Breakfast, 7:45 a.m. until 9 a.m.; Lunch: 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Serving times at the High School: Breakfast ONLY: 7:45-8:45 a.m., Monday through Friday.
Adults are encouraged to accompany their children and may purchase breakfast for $1.75 and lunch for $3.25. This is the 17th year meals have been provided for the Perry Community. Weekly menus for the Summer Food Service Program will be posted on the Perry School Web Page under lunch menus and in the Perry Chiefland Shopper on Tuesdays.
