Here are three things to do in the Perry area this weekend.


1. Friends of the Library Book Sale: Friday, April 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, April 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Perry Public Library in the large meeting room. All books are priced at $2 or less.


2. Create for Life fundraising event: On Saturday, April 22, “Create for Life” will be a 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. event hosted at the McCreary Center for crafters and an array of participants. Entry fee is $40. per person and a lunch and dinner are provided. Funds from the craft event will go towards Dallas County’s Relay for Life event in Perry, Iowa.


3. Clean up at Frog Creek: The City of Perry will host a clean-up at Frog Creek on Saturday, April 22 in celebration of Earth Day. Food will be catered by Hy-Vee.
